A few weeks after Yamaichi's impressive Denso Cup showing, Kawasaki Frontale were the first team to act and secure his services - a top talent has made his way locally from Waseda University to the J-League giants.

Shuto will wear the number 34 for the Frontale.

"Even in the high school championships, I was doing quite a lot with my strength." Yamaichin was quoted via gekisaka.jp.

It turns out that Shuto Yamaichi had pre-agreed a contact with the giants in early March in private. The midfield dynamo showed quality and class during his captaincy of the All-Japan Unversity against their Korean counterparts.

Scouts were immediately interested in the talent after his amazing performance in the 1-0 win. His decision making is unrivalled and has excellent physical attributes to his game - despite not having the tallest stature.

His link-up play with the other players and ability to adapt to game situations, dynamically able to change positions to suit the game-flow impressed many onlookers.

After identifying his impact in the Denso cup early, we hope to see Shuto at the top level very soon.
