“Sometimes a fresh start is required, and this move gives him that opportunity, so we thank him for his time at Hearts and wish him good luck for the future.” - Neil Critchley on Yutaro Oda leaving.

After 53 appearances and seven goals, the Japanese forward Yutaro Oda leaves Edinburgh for the waterfront of Enoshima.
A permanent move follows a time in Edinburgh riddled by struggles with injuries, but Oda is fondly sent-off by fans remembering his first goal for the club, which poetically came against Hibernian.
Although it seemed like a sign of things to come, his time with the Jambos was not to be.
The Hyogo born attacker is a Vissel Kobe U18s product and even represented the senior team prior to his move to Scotland.
Oda will now test himself once again at J1 League level with formidable Bellmare.
